Advance Notice: Adjustments to VIP Tier Thresholds and Futures Fee Rates
Dear OKX Users,
OKX will update VIP tier requirements and futures fee rates on April 8, 2026 from 14:00 to 16:00 (UTC+8). Please refer to the details below to assess how these changes may affect your account and to make any necessary action in advance of the effective date.
*OKX reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend the effective dates of these fee changes as necessary and without prior notice. For the latest and most accurate information on applicable fees, please refer to your local OKX fee page.
Key Changes
1. VIP Tier Threshold Adjustments
The following three changes will be implemented: (i) 30-day futures trading volume thresholds for VIP 1 through VIP 3 have been lowered, enabling a boarder range of users to qualify for VIP fee rates; (ii) asset requirements for VIP 2 through VIP 6 have been revised; (iii) asset-based thresholds have been introduced for VIP 7 through VIP 9, offering high-asset clients an additional qualification pathway to their respective fee tiers. Your VIP tier is always determined by whichever of the following qualifies you for the highest tier: your total account assets, or your 30-day trading volume in any single product line. For example, if your 30-day asset balance qualifies for VIP 2, your 30-day spot trading volume qualifies for VIP 3, and your 30-day futures trading volume qualifies for VIP 4 — all your trades across all product lines will be charged at VIP 4 rates.
